Need help for Painting Hair

Hello guys,

I know there is tons and tons of tutorials of doing hair, I read lots of it, but, I just can't get what I'm doing wrong, and I don't know hot to fix it. There's an exemple of what I'm doing.

I don't know if is the color i'm getting wrong, how I drawn the locks, the Brush I'm using (hard brush with opacity and size on pen pressure).

I'm using Bamboo Pen & Touch.
