Interested in hearing some of your (everybody, anybody) suggestions, MFA or certificate programs to consider

WELL THAT DEPENDES WHAT KIND OF CAREER DO YOU WANT. do you want to be a computer animator, a sketch artist, a illustrator etc? think what kind of job you want, what are the jobs out there and go for that, i cant tell you get a masters in 3D animation if that is not what u want to work in.
Now it depends what u want, I think if you are looking for illustration, advanced painting etc or even graphic Design masters program could be good, BUT if u are looking for 3D animation or that stuff then there are really good One year diploma programs, like GNONOM, VFS, ETC good luck
