Hello POW'ers. I am a million miles behind everything this week. I'll tidy these threads later. For now, as Ilaekae asked under the POW#51 discussion thread, we welcome members to suggest topics & ideas for the POW! that you might want to see tackled.

These are suggestions made by forum people that I pulled from an old thread...a few of which we already did, and one of which (the first one) I broke into a repeating theme by geography, era, etc., that will pop up every once in a while...
Native People's Legends (Pierce9)
Ghost Posing as a Living Person (Official Lamp)
Erotica (Naomi Ningishzidda)
Take a popular story premise and reimagine it as a period piece-- how would Dr. Frankenstein have created his monster in the 1600's? Or, what would Pandora have done with the box in WWII Germany? (sanya)
Real lives of Super Heros (sanya)
Yourself at Art College (Angel Intheuk)
Illustrate an event in your past (Angel Intheuk)
The first day of a new job, that feeling of anticipation followed by the slap of reality (Angel Intheuk)
What would constitute a utopian future? (Angel Intheuk)
A miracle renewable non-polluting energy source is found, how do you picture our future after this miracle? (Angel Intheuk)
A sentimental moment (Kuroyue)
Post Apocalyptic Art Teacher: Maybe they use new tools for art? Maybe they are like traveling salesmen on mutant steeds, who travel the wasteland, trading lessons for items of artistic interest? Maybe they run life drawing classes with a chained down zombie as the model. (Droid)
When you live in the sticks! (OmenSpirits)
I think it would be interesting to do challenges based not just on different plot themes, but on the technical side of comic as well. For example: a story with only identical square panels, a 'silent' comic, something more experimental suggested by a Scott McCloud book or something Alan Moore has surely already done better but that is too cool not to try our hands at it. The next 2 I'm (probably) going with from Sunday are
58 A - The Power behind the Throne (must include superheroes)
and
58 B - Murder in the Manor (Period Drama)
and then some 58 C topic tied to those 2 somehow.
Any feedback?
