face colour

another one....this time focusing more on tones n contrasts. the left side(of the pic) is pretty much done, but could always use more help from you guys. i'm now stuck on the right side, seems a bit too open.. hope you guys can fill me in with help.

if there were eyes it might look less open as you put it.

i just thik the right eye needs more shading to make it looks less open... the bottom right of the head could be shaded up more too

here's a quick update... changed the face shape...
the dark brown strip is juz a border reference

the right top of the head could use more help...and i'm clueless as to what to do with the rest of the body, how i should place them..
