Hey all. I was gonna put this in my daily sketchbook, but seeing as i cant update it daily, it doesnt really belong there, so im putting it here instead.

Ever since the workshop, im going back to the basics and studying anatomy and structure and value (before moving on to tackle color and composition). Ill be posting my progress studies as i scan em, and i would love crits from the lot of you. No concept sketches here for now, ill be putting those up elsewhere, once i fell like ive get my feet more firmly planted.

pretty please critique em to bits, and/or suggest other avenues of study? Feel free to add your own sketches too, by all means.....

onward!
:chug: :D

Hey Hi Layil!

The owls are great and there´s nothing I can say about that portrait sketch from the ws, except great work!

I really like the anatomy studies. The written names of the anatomy parts is a real good thing. I can´t read your writing very good, though. :D Well, the important thing is that you can read it.

The owls are nicely done and express character. The still live however falls short behind your other stuff.

I´m gonna post my anatomy as soon as I´ve done some. cya

Thanks bbwolf. The still life is the first of MANY more to come. The names on the anatomy studies, well i can read SOME of them, lol, though its made even more confusing cause my anatomy books are in spanish, so i need to memorize the names in TWO languages, as if one wasnt hard enough. Im having fun with it though. Ill post some more as soon as i get around to scanning them.

Id love to see some of yours!

:D

Some anatomy. At your service.
(Am I lucky that I started allready:p )

IŽll only post the drawings. The story behind and the written explanation is in my sketchbook.

IsnŽt the spanish anatomy book helping with learning spanish? :D
