Here are some of my figures from open studio sessions. They are all about 20-30 minute poses done in graphite. It seems that this is as far as i can get in that amount of time.

Any crits are welcome. What am I doing correctly? What should I pay more attention to? Help!

yeah, my sense of proportion is a bit off. i should probably spend more time sight measuring stuff.

what do you mean by loosening up my line quality?

That's some crrrrazy foreshortening in the first one! That natural sense of depth will be an assett to you in the future as you develop your own style.

I think Noshadow means let your lines flow a bit more. Let them be out of control at first. Block in your general proportions with a loose, flowing, light line. Then you can darken and tighten your lines and forms later. The key is just to work light and loose at first so you can easily change your proportions and compositions before you become attached to all the rendering work put in on any particular part.
