I'm looking for a large wood well balanced arm palette for standing long periods of time and painting in oils. Something comfortable and stable that does hurt my arm or press into my thumb.

This is the only place online that i have found so far and was hopeing maybe someone here might know a good place either online or in the Los Angeles area to find one.

Go to dickblick.com and check out Artisian wood products. The guy that owns the company used to go to my school, but now he has a business building high-end equipment for artists. He only uses the best wood in his products. He has palettes in 3 different sizes, but they all have a little rubber piece in the thumb hole area that makes holding the palette way more comfortable than a normal palette. They aren't the cheapest palettes around, but there definately worth they're cost.
