Hi all, i'm having some problems with pencils

well, i asked for some sepia-pencils on st. klaas (that's our national variant of christmas , it's like christmas, only then on the 5th of december :D) and i got some.
They were from bruynzeel and i got them in 2 gradations, light and dark. i made some drawings and then i wanted to sharpen them...and they broke.
I tried to sharpen them with 3 different pencil-sharpeners, a knife and by chewing on them, but it all didn't work :(
i'm sure they didn't fall or anything so the thingy in the middle of the pencil is ok...i think, maybe the let some package drop in the factory?
If anyone knows about this problem and knows what to do about it i would love to know it, because i really like the pencils :D

thanks in advance

A utility or x-acto knife should work for you if the pencil sharpeners don't.

You could use sand paper. :D

i found something to sharpen those soft pencils with :)
it's an 20 year old semi-mechanical pencil sharpener :D
thanks for the reply anyway :D
