I don't know if anyone has started a thread on old cartoons in general aside from that old Japanese animation that I posted a while back or any thread involving racist/ethnic jokes. With that out of the way, is there anyone who is an avid fan of old cartoons on here? (examples: Disney, Warner, MGM, Fleischer, Bob Clampett, Walter Lantz, Terry Toons, Van Beuren, Jay Ward, etc.)

I'm a fan of most animation. Especially the good stuff from the golden age.

Always had a soft spot for the Fleischer's stuff. Popeye and the first superman cartoons in particular.

I definitely agree, and those background sets that they did with the rotograph are still amazing to this very day. Too bad that the Fleischers were kicked out by Paramount. (Especially considering that the post-1942 cartoons aren't as lively, and had animation mistakes here and there.)
