Some recent practice work.

- Robot -
OH Giant robots... How I love them.

1. Pencils
2.Prismacolor Markers (20% , 40% . 50%, 70%, 80%
3.Sharpie pen
4.Lights added in photoshop

How long did it take ? 5 hours

- Sub Concepts-
it took me 35 minutes to do the Prismacolor marker renderings and pen work. White acrylic was used for lights. Then I spent another 30 minutes adding green light and highlights in photoshop. So smooth.

how long did it take ? 1 hour 5 minutes.

disclaimer: if your not looking for crits, stop reading now.

the second image works a lot better than the first. the first image is too busy, and its incredibly difficult to read, the blotchy marker background doesnt help matters either.

the second image has a real underwater feel to it (what you were going for i guess :) ) and the green lights (especially on the large vessel) work really well. Some of the rendering feels a little inconsistent as far the light source goes, but im not one to comment on rendering, especially in markers.

That dark background and the sheer small size of the image make it a little hard for me to read too.
But what I can make out looks incredible.
