I want to know the difference between acrylic and gouache color. If i use illustration board, what kind kind of media should i use? Thanx!:confused: :help:

The binder in acrylic paint is an acrylic polymer emulsion. It can be thinned with water when it's wet, but becomes waterproof when dry. The binder in guache is gum arabic, the same used in watercolor. It can be redissolved with water after it dries.
Additionaly, all guache paints have a small amount of white pigment added to make them opaque.
Either would be fine for use on illustration board.
