talos, i don't know if this is possible, but maybe the blue background is one layer, so if you put a gradient from blue to dark-blue/black in the background instead of the blue area, the pic would gain more depth and a better understanding of the ocean/sea-environment...

Fozzy, thanks. I added a bit of gradient in the background...it does seem to add more depth, and makes the character stand out more from the background. Luckily I have started keeping my finished stuff still in layers and save them that way, always can go back and tweak them.

I thank YOU, talos, though i can't see the difference, since i haven't the old one for comparison and maybe i expected a stronger gradient...anyway fishhead's cool...:cool:

Talos, you're prolific!

This is a cool piece. The only thing's i'd do are add a shadow under him on the ground and put a slight glow around the green lights.

And maybe put some watery, um, water in front of him.

Ok, again appreciate all the feedback....very helpfull hints guys. I pumped up the gradient constrast again, and added a cast shadow. :cool: Added some more glow to lights too.
