Hi folks, this will be my first posting, which includes one of my pictures.
How I mentioned in the topic it is a spy and it's completly drawn with different hard pencils.
I made it for a small contest (with very strong competition, because of which I would be rather suprised if I really would win) and actually it's nearly finished.
The only thing missing is the background, which will probably just a change from light in the upper right to darkness in the lower left corner, which should represent a street-lamp (which I tried to draw, but quickly erased :)).

But enough talking, here you go (couldn't use the scanner in the house, so I had to take a picture with a digi-cam that's The sharp picture can be found a few posts below

Completing this thread I want to tell you which references I used.
For the trenchcoat I used some photo from Humphrey Bogart, while the hat was really hard to draw, because theres just no picture from such a head in this perspective, so I used different photos from Indiana Jones and Bogart, where the hat was in another perspective, and a cowboy hat in the right angle. The suitcase is from another google picture search and the face was made out.

I would be glad for some honest comments und critics.

I hope I could scan the picture in the not so far future, because the photo is, like you said, kinda blurry.
Maybe I try something in the background like a park or a backalley, but since I never drawed such a thing before and only have time till end of the month (there's still school...) I have to say what comes along.

Nope Forge, I tried it form different distances and it did not become any sharper.
Maybe I can today use our scanner or the better digital Photograph from my father (the one I used was from my brother)

Edit:
By the way the pic in the first post was made outdoor

I made a photo with my fathers Cam and it's finally sharp.
But the graphit refelcts the light in the real dark areas :(.
And i saw i have to change the nose, any tipps to not ruin the drawing while doing this?
