A couple of sketch-renderings for a tracked APC concept. Technical spec is that it's capable of carrying multiple personnel in the body section, and is fitted with a 'Dual-Magno Coil Cannon' atop. Near-future proposal (Vietnam War inspired).

C&C welcomed. Jamie Martin

Very cool, but on a design standpoint, i think the front windows dont really fit the feel of the APC. Mabye a much smaller slit, something to give the feel of alot of protection, much like the covered treads. Cool coil gun, but again, mabye more armor, so it fits with the main vehicle its attached to. cant wait to see more:)

Yeah I agree with them, the view port should be a minimal slit too give the idea that it is one armmored mofo. Maybe increase the size of the:rambo: gun. It looks like it could snap like a twig. Swell job though.

Good points guys. The gun I'm not too bothered about - I wanted it to be quite delicate looking (in contrast to the chunky design of the APC). The size of the 'windows' was something I toyed with (as can be seen with the rather small side view-port). I eventually decided a front 'window' that appeared quite large worked with the design (who's to say there aren't much tigher view-ports behind this initial expanse of glazing?). If I do another similar vehicle sketch-rendering, I'll utilise much more visually 'tight view-ports to illustrate your suggestions.

Thanks for the C&C :-) Jamie Martin
