I've been browsing these forums for quite some time now, so I figured it's time to post something.
I've always been interested in drawing and painting, but I have just recently really started to make an effort in improving. These forums make a great impression on me, both because of all the great talent, but also how passionate people are about their art.

I'm still trying to figure out most of the basic stuff, and I havn't got a lot of finished stuff. This is a picture I'm fairly happy with even though it has some problems.
comments and critique is appreciated

Not completely sure about the legs, something looks off.

Get a reference, friend or mirror and do the pose, study the legs and the overall balance.

PLUS - He seems very short, check your proportions.

And Finally, The entire image needs a bit more refining. Dont be afraid to use a solid, hard edge every so often. The image appears to blurry.

Having said all that, its still a good start. An interesting pose and pretty good colour. Keep posting.

I think its his left thigh, its thinner than it should be and is almost disjointed from his hip. Also his left shoulder is smaller than his right.

Not to bad though :)

I set the brush to a higher opacity and redid some things. I guess I will add the bag 'o grenades again, just checking back if there's anything i should fix.
Because of his now much cooler pose (;) ) i think i'll give him a pair of sandals
