Nice, talos, i am starting to like your art :)

But this sea-snake-tattoo on the forearm is too sharp. It doesn't match to the syle of the rest...

It doesn't really appeal to me...I think the subject matter is pretty stereotypical..the whole vampire creatures with different color eyes chasing after you like mummies.... a bit cheesy...the colors look strange because some of them don't fit with the others(bright orange cape..bright yellow eyes...pink glow on the foreground guys face)......you can tell that the purple snake tattoo is totally flat and doesnt look like it is resting on the skin...think about the basics of what a "zombie" is and then take it somewhere no one has ever gone....that would keep my attention....keep painting!.....STARK:chug: :chug:

I like this pic! Flat tattoo set aside anyway.

Love the neon colours and the way they set off the gray-blue undertones. I like the way the colours on the characters become more powerfull from back to front, a sort of depth using colour. Like they're shambling from a darkened alley onto a brightly neon-lighted city street.

Awesome blade-like atmosphere (if you like that sort of thing), modern vampires!

Who cares about stereotypes! Everything you can think of has been done before! Yes, everything. I just think this is a great study of colour and digital paint.

Thanks for feedback, I did knock back the tat on the forearm.

Stark, some nice points. First, this is just goofy fun drawing, not meant to redefine vampire or zombie mythology. Though you are correct in that every artist's challenge is to take subject matters where they have not been before. As for the warm light and cape, they are there to add some life to the drawing...though they are the "undead", the composition I thought needs a bit of punch to create contrast. It would be boring not to have some warm colors in the composition. It is perfectly possible that there is a warm light source shinning from where the viewer is, thus casting some warm underlighting on the front character's face.
