Havent posted in a little while. I thought Id share a character head I created in Maya. This character was hand painted in maya using artisan (and a wacom tablet).

Whoa! Now that alien head is out of this world, literally! ;)
Your attention to detail is mind-boggling, I really like that in your models. And yeah, the eyes looks crazy!

I rather you used a img tag.
And make a file folder called "images" after messfxusc folder.
http://www.geocities.com/messfxusc/images/thor.jpg
|img|then http:/address and closetag |/img|
use [image] bracets
so it finds and shows the image on page.
just use the image tags then point it to ur address and image folder

Batteram and Lono- Thanks for the kind words. I always strive for a high level of detail in my textures.
Darrell- Um..Geocities does not support remote linking of image files. I could rename the files as a .txt but each image is around 150k.

EDIT: Ok, I added the first image using the .txt trick.

Dude if you painted that with artisan more power to you. I haven't seen anyone gotten any good use out of it for texturing until now.

Yeah, artisan is sort of a pain unless you have a pretty fast machine. I was impressed by its stroke accuracy though.
I just wish Painter 3d had taken off -that could have been amazing.

would it be possible to get a black and white
take it into photoshop and color behind the black
and white gradation.

Yeah you could get a flat image and take it into photoshop. The problem is that its all stretched. Depending on your surface.
