Im assuming that you werent going for a perfect anatomy, but if you were..there are certainly many problems.
Ill point them out if youd like me to ;)
I dont really like the background of the first one, while I love the bg of the second one..goes with the character better =)
Ironically, I think I like the character in the first one better..his face just seems to look more realistic, more detailed, and I like that.
Also, I think he could use some better lighting, and stronger contrasts to bring out certain areas of himself, or just bring him out of the background more.
Whatever you decide to do with him, just do it =)
I wanna see this finished.

I see what you mean

the second one needs tightening up with better skin lighting and tones

on the anatomy, sure! tell me everything! I take criticism pretty well(sometimes:bash: )
