This reminds me, well, at least I think it well, of Michael Chrictons book "The Terminal Man." Has anybody here read that book, it's pretty short actually, only about 260 pages (like a one-night read).

One of the main characters is obsessed with the fact that someday machines will rule over their human masters. :)
