This is a preliminary sketch for a work I'm doing in my rendering class. Essentially I will eventually build this "Mythalogical" (teachers wording) creature out of alot of tiny drawings, like as if it looks like this from a distance, but you get closer and its actually comprised of lots of smaller drawings. Anyways, it's still in developement so any anotomical ideas you guys have or any conceptual critiques would be extremely helpful. Thanks, here he is.

most actual anglers (the fish) have usually got an extending jaw or neck area for quick attack on their prey. elasticated muscles deploy the mouth parts without the fish having to move first.
Oh yeah and also the teeth are often needle like for easier grappling.

yeah i agree the teeth should be more pointy that would look sweet! but no other crits this is really nice

cool, thanks for the crits. Yeah I think I will try making the teeth more pointy, but I'll probably leave the front two buck teeth cause I like the goofiness, but I might try a different pose as well, thanks again.
