Hey Andriod,
How long do you spend on a portrait like this? After all this time I'm thinkin you pump something like this out in less than half an hour, eh? :mischief:
Well? WELL?! ANSWER ME!!!

Ryaken,
spent about 20 minutes on this one. it was about 5 in the morning, I had been making loose gestural drawings all day and wanted to continue in the same spirit.

5 in the morning?!?! are you one of those people that can go into work whenever as long as you put in a certain amount of time? a friend of mine that used to work at origin, then left for digital anvil, used to do that. sounds like a dream job if you ask me.

I am one of those kind of people that can work those strange hours, but I still wake up at a set time and go to work the same time everyone else does, it is a dream job but my schedual takes away from alot of my dream time. Ironic huh?
I was awake for 19 hours and spent about 14 of those hours drawing. thats a good day. I might not get alot of sleep but, after a full day of drawing I dont feel guilty for sleeping , I feel like I deserve sleep. and I sleep like a baby.

oh my god 14hrs of drawing a day I thought 2hrs was good, I guess I better get to the drawing board and lock myself in the chair. I too don't sleep much so there is no excuse for me not drawing longer.
well another excellent piece Andriod

narly man 14 hours... wowsers!
hey andrew, is there a way for your next portrait you could do a step by step one.. so we can see your process? I know some of you dont spend that long on.. but thats because you have been doing them for a long time and know your face.. etc.. but if you could do a step by step for us that would rock!
thnx man

Nice one Andrew.
14 hours? I'm happy with myself if I just get 4-5. Of course I dont do drawing as a job yet, but I imagine if I spent 14 hours a day drawing I'd improve a lot quicker, heh.
My main problem with working that long is my health. I can barely do anything for 5 hours without having to lay down because of chronic headaches and migraines.
