Hehe...I was looking at VenomGirl's thread and thought it was a fantastic idea. I've tried to draw myself before but my friend's always say it looks nothing like me.

This is the perfect way to see yourself from a different perspective. It's my belief that an individual sees him/herself completely different than the rest of the world sees you.

Well I happen to have a few digital camera shots of myself on my deviant art account. So if your interested, have at ye.

I'm going to attempt a self portrait again and I'll post it in here, but right nowe I'm in the middle of drawing another sketch of The Drugstore Cowboy(I still don't have a name for him).

NOTE: I swear, the last one DOES have a purpose. It's to show my style of clothing. Notice the holes in the sleeves for my thumbs to fit through.

Ah crap. It's not working. Full body shots are way too blurry to even make out that I'm a humanoid. Just put me in a creative pose and use my head as a reference.

Haha! That's great! The pose totally fits me. You might wanna refine the shoe so it's more obvious that I don't have one on my left foot.

Overall I like it but the likeness isn't quite there. The nose should be a little smaller and the mouth a little bigger, but for a sketch, I think I'm satisfied with it, it was definitely good tablet practice for me.

That's really freaking sweet! What kinda tablet you got? Size? 'm looking into getting a tablet, but I'm not sure if I want a Graphire or Intuos...I AM short on cash, so it's either get the GRaphire now or wait a few weeks until i can affort intuos.

Hehe, I figured you didn't always squint your eyes, I just liked the tension of the muscles in your face and neck in that one picture.

I have a Platinum 9x12 Intuos 2, it's nice, I like it a lot but it was pretty pricey. You can get some decent deals if you're a student though. Like all the threads in the lounge say, tablet size is really a personal preference, it all depends on how you like to work. I've seen people do some amazing art with a 4x5 graphire, it's a good choice for some people, and as far as cash is concerned, I think anyone who does a lot of cg will find a tablet to be a good investment, no matter what size it is.

I've pondered long and hard of why Brad was such a cool name. I've spent my entire life doing research on it. Mixing formulas and other scientific things of that sort. After years of research I've come to a conclusion. That is, Brad is such a cool name simply because its "Darb" backwards...
