I'm working on a competition piece for the RSVP Cityscapes competition. The color study was done in photoshop, and the final piece will be done in oils, 8 x 16. Here's what I have so far:

wonderful piece... interesting that youre beginning in digital and finishing in traditional media... will you be painting over sealed inkjet print on w/c paper as donato giancola and todd lockwood do? do you know what process i mean?

Are you psychic? Yes, that's exactly what I'll do, and in fact I got the idea from Donato and Lockwood. I just did the study in photoshop because I can figure stuff out faster with a computer. My digital finals just don't compare, though, thus the oil.

Interesting idea of how to work in the reverse order of media that I'm use to. Cool.
