Suggested Nick Cave albums

I want to buy an album by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, but I don't know which one. Normally I would go to CDNow and listen to the song samples, but there are so many available that I don't want to spend the time sifting through them. What would you suggest I get?

if you want mellow nice cave, go for 'the boatmans call', or 'no more shall we part', if you want old punky nick cave, go for 'kicking against the pricks', if you want in between nick cave, go for 'henry's dream' or 'let love in'.

all in all, i'd recommend , 'henry's dream' or 'let love in', followed by 'the boatman's call'.

you should also read his novel 'and the ass saw the angel'
