I don't know what my thing is with monkeys and pirates, but I dig both. Comments and constructive criticism welcome.

I think it looks great. I don't really have much to crit, but I think his side should have more hair.

It didn't communicate well at all, but I was trying to give him a "patchy" look with the body hair, where there would be random patches of hair missing. The side was the biggest patch, and sadly, the other patches don't really read well.

I think maybe with the patchy hair thing, make it look not quite as clean cut. Leave some smalle tufts around the edges and the edges should not be as straight. It looks like its been done with clippers instead of being random.

I like the face and expression a lot...nice work. Now show me the pirates...

boko- Thank you. I don't think this is something I can keep putting time into, but I agree, if I have time, I'll see if I can't get it inked and colored.

hoopa- Good call with the patchy thing. I think I might go in to do some work there, otherwise, I think I'm done with it.

JabMasta- I actually never played Monkey Island, but man, did I want to. I think my Pirate love comes from the Sega game Pirates! Gold, which was just an awesome game I've never found since. I still don't know about the monkeys though.
