painter 8.1 patch

i'm having trouble finding the painter 8.1 patch.. i keep seeing the corel ftp link but it leads to a directory that has links for "win" and "mac" and clicking either just freezes my browser.. does anyone know of another way to get the 8.1 patch?

Before you begin, and to prevent problems....

For instructions to Uninstall Painter 8, reinstall Painter 8, and install the Painter 8.1 patch, see the thread named:

Also, to learn more about the Painter 8.1 patch, do a Search using the terms:

i clicked on the link for the patch posted above (at least for the win version) but the target url is missing an "en" after the win folder..
so you can find the patch and other files here:

Hi,

en is the folder for the English version 8.1 patch.

Since there may be people reading this thread who don't use the English version, I posted the URL to the main Painter 8.1 folder with the two folders for Mac and Win inside it.

I figured that way, they could choose the platform and Painter 8.1 patch version (language) they need without having to hunt for the right folder (might not know to click the "Up to Higher Level Directory" link.
