Hi all
I'm considering getting the dvd from http://www.tsofa.com/detail.lasso?-token.page=inventory but I'm wondering if anyone has seen it? His drawings are fantastic, and if only a fraction of that made it into the dvd it would be worth it :)

The web site is a bit light on the description, what is on the disc? Video instruction, or documents/pictures? Is it material for beginners or advanced students?

I'm grateful for any comments or advice.

That website is lacking a lot of info about what's on the DVD. However, if you're trying to look into drawing the human body, there is a really great video series called "The Structure of Man". It goes through every single step needed to draw the human body without reference images. You'll be bale to draw the human body just by thinking about it using some very basic ratios and starting points.

The first DVD goes through the entire process of the entire human body, from the bones and onto the muscles. It doesn't just cover the head, it covers the entire body, and it's very easy to learn.

Try checking this out...

I think you'll get a lot more out of it and overall it costs less. The website you mentioned has one DVD just for the human head and costs $52 plus shipping. The website I linked, you can download the series and it includes the entire body and costs $65. You can even buy additional DVD's for different types of drawings.

I bought the first DVD and I can honestly tell you that it was completely worth every cent. You'll be able to watch yourself improve after every lesson. It's a great series.

There's only one caveat to the series and that's the amount of bandwidth you'll be using when downloading the DVD. It's over 70 hours of lessons which means you'll be downloading almost 35 gigabytes worth of movies. But, if bandwidth isn't and issue, get this DVD series. Well worth the bandwidth and cost of the DVD.
