How can I make human representations for product design in programs like illustrator? I just want to be able to show proportions with respect to the human body as silhouettes.
Thank you.

The easiest ways to do silhouttes are to sketch out the forms and then scan them in and trace them with the pen tool in Illustrator. If you want, you could even go so far as to take photographs and then put them in Illustrator and trace them exactly if you are worried about proportions. Good Luck. Make sure you don't get yourself in trouble by stealing copyrighted photos though man.
