Risd VS Parson

I've heard from many people that RISD and Parson is the leading art school's in the U.S. What are the comparason between those school? The strong points and the weak points

Hey, i am also an incoming Art school student and probably going to go School of the Museum of fine arts in boston. I cant tell you specific differences between RISD and Parsons however I can tell you this: Parsons is a school of Design (though it is in RISD's name as well, RISD is more of a fine arts school). Parsons is more design than fine art and RISD is visa versa. I dont know if you have looked into RISD program at all but the freshman year is what makes RISD students exelent Artists. It is the most Intense set of foundation courses you will see anywear. I would suggest visiting the schools, it makes a big difference.

parson's fashion oriented, risd is more well rounded and tech oriented. If you can get into RISD, you can get into parsons, but it's not the otherway around :)
