Portrait (first post)

HI,

this is my first post. I haven't been drawing for years, but this website gave me the desire for starting again. I've been hangin around here for months, now it's time to drop something...

There is a portrait of my girlfriend, in a cartoon way, all made with photoshop and a wacom with a ref pic. C&C are welcome.

this is nice, i like the shading and colors but...

her neck is beefy, waay to thick, her nose looks wierd, you cant tell whats happening with it. and...her left forearm is too thin, looks strange out of your periferal vision. otherwise, i really really like the colors and the background you chose to go with this and her torso is very nicely rendered. :chug:

Yes the first thing I noticed when I looked at the picture was her nose. It's kinda scary. The second thing I noticed was the neck. Her neck is almost as thick as her waist, and I don't beleive that's physically possible, ugliness aside.
