Just found this place today and had to get in on some of this action. I've been reading posts all day (with a little breakypoo in the middle for... *gasp*... going outside) and just found it all very fascinating. There are so many exceptional artists here and it's freaking intimidating, but I'll try my best to put my anxieties aside and learn all I can! So here's some of my crap! Hopefully I did this right and haven't exploded the bandwidth of the server these are on.

An inside joke, but the art is there nonetheless.

Character "sketches" for some project thingy... I think these are sketches, they were done each in a couple of hours. And since I haven't drawn for a while and don't know where my finished drawings are right now as far as quality goes I can't tell. We'll just say sketches...

That's about it I think. Sorry if something blows up due to my lack of inexperience. In the event of such an occurance it wasn't me...

ah, dont listen to bhuddistmonk too much, it got a chuckle out of me.

nice stuff too.

on the first one (the nuke one) the values leave it feeling kinda flat, dont be afraid to throw some dark in there. same goes for the character concepts as well.

also with the characters dont be afraid of some higher saturated colors. the 'washed out' feeling may be what youre goin for, but deep vibrant colors can really help kick stuff off the page. :)

and welcome:chug:

I like that first one alot, nice angle. Character "sketches" arent bad either, though the green dudes clavicles seem a bit over pronounced. Welcome to the community.

Is it just me or does green/black combo line art fully creep anyone else out!!!!??

I like these renderings. I feel though that on the 2 grren guys, especailly the one holding the axe, their arms seem to be alittle short. One question though, you didnt really have to draw model that looked that lady did you?!?! Those drawings to get a good sense of wieght to them though. Good job.

I really like your style, you got something good going on. My only problem is with the character with gun and the character with the axe. The character with the gun's shoulders look a bit too low and the guy holding the axe has short arms. Just touch that up and they will be good to go.

Keep up the good work,
Greg Smith
