STEP 01 : Choose one concept out of my sketchbook01 on my website. Import into Photoshop 7, lay down tones for background w/ Multiply. General idea of ambiance.

Step two is putting your pic on a hosting site or something. You can't upload directly from your computer to here.

I just wanted to put in a couple of comments.
The helmet: it's asymetrical. The part that comes down I mean. Is it supposed to be?
The pants: if the dude's falling backward then why are his pants not? They would billow up.
Horns?: the horns? on the demon? are slightly asymetrical too. Looks like one's bigger than the other. However, I think it works.
Aside from that I wish my color skills were as good. Thanks for posting your process.

hey mr.right,
yeah yu're right about the helm, i have to make it work out somehow. like in a complete different way than the sketch.
...well i dunno... they're not really ''falling down'' i think... ( the characters )
and they're not corns actualy, more like hair. look closer heh. But i guess someone could get confused, just like noshadowmaster. ( don't worry, step 05 is commin...)
thanks for the comment tho.

Question:
are they floating or falling.
everything except the pants suggests falling
eg. the hair on the right creature, the umbrella, and their stature. (wrong word?)
i could be completely wrong~shrug~

well actualy i never really tought of it that wa personaly. The whole point of my work is to represent what my imagination comes up with my beliefs and toughts... so basicly it doesn't make sens what so ever and it's ment to be that way ( if you ever saw my previous work and try to spot the places where iv'e tricked the viewer....but anyway. )
So it all depends on how you want it to be. for my part, id say there isn't gravity really, it's just there to represent a feeling more than anything, and not to illustrate a realist situation in space. Surealist more likely.
* I've posted the final result on the finaly finished gallery *
