First let me say, this stuff is awesome.
Now, forgive me for going on to be the sole nay sayer, but if you want some serious crit, I'm seeing (undesirable I believe) flatness in each of these pics. It's odd to see that, because your drawing skills are obviously very advanced. But because I'm seeing it in all the pictures to some degree, I think this is perhaps your particular wall at this point in your development. Take this with a grain of salt, maybe you'll fine something useful here. So here goes:

pic1: The demon with the cleaver, his face, and the rolls under his chin are not really rounding out (not appearing as convex as I think you want them), and the hand and cleaver don't really feel as if they're out in front of his belly; his right hand doesn't feel like it's a whole body width in front of his left hand.

pic2: The kneeling woman, her right butt cheek, it's flattening out (not reading as convex and 3d as you probably want it). The left arm of the demon, holding the flaming sword, is really not projecting out towards the viewer; the demon's tail does not look like it's snaking back into the distance, but rather just sitting flat right on the picture plane.

pic3 The snake creature; look closely at his left arm (our right) and his serpent body in general. These elements are really not moving in and out off the page (toward and away from the viewer). They're all sitting on the picture plane.

last pic: the female figure in the center is really not reading strongly as projecting toward the viewer.

Does anyone else see that?

Note in all these examples, usually the drawing & foreshortening are quite "correct." However, the strong sense of 3d that I think you would want to achieve in this type of work does not come from that alone.

bwkeough- Yeah, now that I've got a little free time, I hope to get these coloerd up.

Atomicfate- I could go either way with the hands crit. I wouldn't want to see 'em too much bigger.

nardfrog- Didn't you get the newsletter? We're not supposed to talk about this stuff in public anymore! ;)

Chris Beatrice- Thanks for the crits, I think you've brought up some good points. I think one of my problems is that I have a fear of hard-edged shadows, I tend to blend everything...but I'm working on that. I'm open to any suggestions on how to correct these issues.

everyone else- Thanks for the kind words!!
