Here's my painting i did on a WWII bayonette charge. I had some sketches up a few weeks ago for it and this was the final painting for the class. However there are alot of things i'd like to change and make better. I'd like some critiques and was wondering if i should edit it digitally or just alter the original with gouche. Also sorry for the lines in it, the image was way bigger than my scanner so i had to do it a few times and past it together.

Very nice painting. Since you said there are several things you would like to do to improve it I won't really nitpick over details, I just would like to suggest altering the original rather than doing it digitally. I do a lot of digital artwork, and i have done my fair share of paintings and drawings, and I can safely say that there is something about editing digitally that somehow changes the original (in a negative way). The picture is great as a painting, and I believe that digitally altering it could take away a lot of that painting feel to it.
If you were to alter it digitally, I might even suggest going for a totally different look rather than trying to keep it loking like a painting. Anyway, those are my two cents, you are doing a great job!
