ORC Painting Finished

Hi guys, this is a new painting i did, took me about 8 1/2 hours. I think it turned out pretty good, but im sure you all have something good to say about it.

I used a refrence from www.gamesworkshop.com for the orc, but added some of my own shading and lighting. The reffrence of the ORC was way smaller than mine. Also it was very very pixelated.

Also i got a bit of help with a little bit of a quick paint over for the background, from a guy named Matthew, over at Sijun. But then added my own detail and stuff. www.Sijun.com

Me like it. Strange but striking composition. The only thing I would try to do is not use paintbrush this way. It tends to look like you spent too much time on it, even in the areas where there is no detail.
Be brave, use large, solid strokes wherever you can.

ya i need some serious training on using low opacity and blending it better, even if it doesn't show its bleeding through me like no tommorow. But i am getting better, i believe.

That's looking pretty sweet so far, but the figure isn't integrating into the BG very well. That white outline is really killing the depth. To help with this, I'd axe the outline, add a little fog/fading in the background, and more value in the foreground.

I also agree about the airbrush. Looks a bit overworked.
