the beyonder

A couple of days ago, a guy emailed me asking if I wanted to draw a pic for a column he has on a comic site. The column will be called "Spin Doctors" and what you do is, redraw a forgotten or crappy character from comics long forgotten.

Anyways, the article's not up yet, but I wanted to show the pic anyways. When I first saw the Beyonder, i was like...he's SOOOOO ge-hay. Anyways, I did the pencils in a lighter pencil, and a chessy bg is added.

I like the way you work and you've got a nice start on this image. But who is the Beyonder? Was he the guy from the giant Marvel cross-title war to save the universe?

The Beyonder may be that fellow, i'm not sure. all i was given was what he looked like, and a general bio.

i just thought he looked gay, and his description didn't follow how he looked....so i thought I would change that :)
