Hello. I am Richard deCosta, composer and artistic director at Turing Opera Workshop. I am in need of a concept artist or artists. I have an upcoming performance of my opera "K'ai, Death of Dreams" in July, and I need concept art ASAP.

My current concept artist is very busy with other things at the moment, and I need someone else to help. So far, everyone involved in the project is a volunteer, including me. If you are you willing to work pro-bono, taking payment from receipts from the July performances and tour that'd be great. I need approximately 10 character designs and 6 set (location) designs. Ultimately, the artist we need should be able to produce 3-views of the characters, like THIS (http://rdecosta.no-ip.com/kaiopera/images/concept/TuringOperaWorkshop-Kai3ViewColor2.jpg) for our 3d modelers to work from.

The opera is going to be performed with 3d puppets in Unreal Tournament 2004. You can see and hear the current state of the project here: OFFICIAL WEBSITE (http://www.richarddecosta.com/KaiOpera) This project has been featured at AnimWatch.com (http://animwatch.com/Spotlight-Kai.shtml) and is being featured in an upcoming issue of 3D World Magazine.

Regards,
Richard deCosta

Hi,

My name is Michael Buffington. I am currently doing concept artwork at Z-axis for the Xmen 3 Game based on the movie to be released in 2006.

My contract is going to end soon and I am currently looking for more work to build my resume.

I am strongest at character, creature, and costume/prop design, but do do vehicles and environments when needed.

My website hasn't been updated since October of last year, but it should give you a good idea of my skill set.

I have much improved since then in speed and overall skill. I'm not sure where to email you, but if you send me your email I can send you samples of some of my more current work.

Here's my contact info:
