What's the best material to color with? I've slowly realized that colored pencils are very boring and not as professional looking as what I see other people using. Are markers the best? The coloring I have in my is from this guy's site (www.artbyfeng.com). I really love the coloring in the picture below.

Whatever material it is, could you please post the name of it so I could run out and get some? I looked on his "How I work" page but didn't see anything for coloring. I don't think this is Photoshop or Painter. Clue me in.

Thanks guys.

yes, me thinks it's a special material a hibred of marker and acid based ink. something so cunning and yet brilliant the colors just jump off the screen. i believe leonardo himself made such a formula in one of his books. alas, he never did create it luckily for you, feng developed this technique. using the blood of a virgin rabbit and the ears of a 2 day old dead horse and ofcourse the eye of newt.

no wait, it's photoshop.

like he says, he uses ink and markers for the drawing but the colors look to be just photoshop and maybe, maybe painter.
