I am positive that photshop can do what painter does, does anyone know how to do this? i know that i can get a b/w brush of my image, but no color to it? on the futurama season 3 they talk about using photoshop to paint crowds with the bruhes and it just spits out images of crowd peple.

Hi,

As nearly as I can tell doing a quick read of Photoshop 7 Help, there's no feature similar to Painter's Image Hose brush category.

However, it seems that Photoshop can do something similar to Painter's Pattern Pens brush variants, painting with the Pattern Stamp tool using a selected Pattern.

I could have this all wrong and I certainly haven't figured how even that is done.

I'll be very interested to learn more about how it's done in Photoshop 7 and/or if this capability is only available in Photoshop CS.

The only other programs I know of that have the capabiltiy of spraying images the way Painter's Image Hose sprays images contained in a Nozzle are:

PaintShop Pro (Tubes)

Photo Paint (Image Lists)

I hope someone here has the answer.

Good luck,

Photoshop needs something like this. It would be very useful.
