bullets? lasers? an explosion?

I can't decide on the source of the yellow flash to the right.

Should I draw in some flying bullets? lasers? shrapnel from an explosion? leave it?

general c&c welcome as well.

this has a cool cartoony feel to it. as for your request... i picture some guards running in towards the girl... i dont think bullets would fit, cuz id expect to see the robot trying to completely cover the girl instead of just block something coming towards her.

hehe, no problem. this pic has a cool charm to it. at first i wanted the girl to look frightened... but after thinking about it for a while, if i had a robot like that guarding me, i dont think id be too scared :)
