A quick two hour piece I threw together last night as stress relief. I realize there are some funky tangents with his arm and hoof, but I was too deep into the rendering before I noticed!!
Anyhow, enjoy ;)

yeah ur right about the tangents. I think the fingers themselves could change that easily. Look nice though.

You can fix that easy if you just hit that leg a little bit with a kneaded eraser. That will set it way back behind the arm and the tangent will be hard to notice.

hey, thats pretty neat, it looks great, have you ever thought about using markers to shade your art? it'll give it a cleaner and a more even toned look~

Hey Salty Dog.
I like this drawing. You show nice control of your pencil. I think what would puch out a little more is to darken the shadows under his chin and abdomen area. By looking at this I get the feeling that you are really holding back some killer abilities too. take your talent with the lead and tweak those arms to more dramatic poses. For instance curl that left fist in more, which in turn will cause that forarm muscle to flex. And when you do that , don't keep the fingers even with each other, have em roll naturally into the cup of the hand.
And one thing that David Cherry of Ensemble games said was to not get too attached to a drawing/painting. Don't be afraid to "destroy" what you've created to move on to making it better.
keep it up and post us more drawings this one is cool.
