THUNDERDOME Info and Rules

hello all...

Do you have what it takes to defeat our current champion Wes9000? If you think you might...check the info below!

Round two of THUNDERDOME is a ladies match! Whoever can come up with the most bad ass, toughest, roughest, battliscious female fighter will be our champ!

The female heroine is to have one ranged weapon and may also have melee weapons. She is to be creative and dynamic in pose and lighting. She ALSO must have a battle familiar who fights with her and for her. The concept is about the heroine...the familiar is to be subordinate visually in the image. focus on the character.

judging will be based on the below qualities:

1 idea (how cool is it...is it interesting?)
2 anatomy and structure
3 drawing (space, form, light, edge quality, line quality)
4 pose
5 color use and mood
6 overall effort
7 judges preference

WINNER WILL RECIEVE A BRAND NEW 200 PAGE SKETCHBOOK . the best part is that some of the main page artists will be starting it for you! thats right...original works from jason manley, feng zhu, justin kaufman, andrew jones, puddnhead, spine finger and james zhang will be included in the book....all signed...all the real thing.

contest deadline is august fifteenth.

there was only one contest. joshthej called out wes9. the goal was to create an apocalyptic(sp?)warrior-dude...had to be full color. these were the only two entries b/c it was only open to joshthej and wes9. wes won. but both should be congradulated.
