Looks good. Almost like a photo. I would like to see it bigger though.

Hi,

Looks good. Almost like a photo. I would like to see it bigger though.

You have got to be kidding me! I don't think it ressembles a photo at all.

To begin with, the painting isnt really my style. So forgive me if i sound a bit harsh.
To me it lacks emotion. Its a cool reflection of ' reality' .
Also, if its meant to be a realistic painting, then there're a couple of technical issues here.
- lack of detail
- brightness of the colours
- ...

It more or less gives the impression of a stylised painting rather then a realistic one.

Just my opinion :)

I agree with toram. The painting is more like a stylized version of reality. It does not have enough detail to be like a photo, but if that was not what you were going for then disregard. Also, the suits inthe window do not look like they are being seen from behind the glass. The part I do think comes off well is the shadow of the sign on the bricks, but it is hard to really say with such a small picture. Do you have a larger one to post? Also, I like the martini glass picture.
