Especially not if you say you plan to rework it.

Now that I'm done being snippy, here's a serious and (hopefully) constructive crit:

1. The figure needs more contrast. If there's that much light coming from the wings and the halo and the (?) loincloth, there'd be more light on the figure so we could see some detail. His body needs to be lighter, or maybe give some light background in the middle to pop his body offe the screen. Hmm. that might lessen the impact of the glowy bits, but it's worth a shot. Thank God for layers. :D

2. His right arm is too short, and the hand is bent at a funny angle. Not funny haha. If the arms are supposed to be foreshortened, you need to force the perspective more. Right now, they just look flipper-ish.

3. The left arm needs to be filled in with color. I can see the hand (barely - see #1!) in the linework, but there's no there there.

4. Clean up the linework. The sketchiness is a stylistic thing, but I don't think it's working here. Then again, I think that's an opinion, so you can disregard if you choose.

5. Those wings ore rockin'! I really like the way you've layered the colors. Again, though, I'm going to have to say that you should fill them in all the way to the body, and, on his left wing, give some more definition of what's there. The linework on the right wing helps a LOT, but the linework on the left is lost in the darkness. Also, cleaning up the left wing's edge would help a lot.

6. The glowing loincloth. I'd recommend looking at some (more) reference to get this to feel more like cloth. It looks pretty convincing on the right side of the picture, but on the left, it looks like you kinda got tired of painting it. Smooth out your folds a little bit and that should kick it up a nawtch! BAM!

Hope it helps. Good work, Ma'in!
