watup all.

I posted this in the lounge a while back but my post was pretty long so nobody read it or responded. Anyways I think this is a better place to ask.

Anybody know of any good art courses I could take near Washington DC or of any other options in the area besides formal courses?

After screwing around on this site for the last few months, I've been starting to pick up my old sketchpad and start drawing a lot more and I feel I might be interested in making a career out of art. (I currently work in intellectual property law --> BOOOOOORING!)

I've read most of the tutorials on CA and they are all extremely helpful, but I'm also looking for some hands on training. Maybe some life drawing classes or design classes. Plus I dont want to waste my time trying to get a degree (I'd rather spend that time practicing and getting better and save my money) so I'd rather just take classes and maybe get private tutoring and stuff. Somebody wana point me in the right direction?

Also, what about those instructional DVDs I keep reading about? Which ones are good and where do I get them?

Thanks kiddies!

p.s. I woulda gone to the CA workshop but Amsterdam is a bit far away for my taste... plus I'm not a big fan of airplanes...
