Hey guys, my names Dexter, or username blasteryui. Anyways, for the past year or so, I've been learning to draw, taking it more seriously then I ever have before, I will admit, I have improved since the beginning, however I'm still stuck. By stuck, I have some issues, when I draw, I always have to look at something, and always focus, I have troubles with proportions, my friend can easily just grab some paper and a pencil and begin drawing without looking at anything. How do draw without needing to look? Also, when I draw,
I try to make it as perfect as possible from the beginning, I see a lot of people starting with basic shapes at first or lines, then slowly changing them as they continue to draw, I was never taught to draw from basic, and was never taught how to draw period. Should I start basic, if so how, can anybody provide tutorials or actual art lessons, I don't mind learning classic art, or going right to the beginning, I just don't have the money to pay for lessons, my future career is going to require some artistic abilities, and I also want to be able to draw, paint, and appreciate art more, it's the one thing I've never been able to fully grasp.
