I'm an art foundation student in the UK who's just started his final major project on the theme of concept art for a film. over the last few days its become more and more obvious that i don't really have the faintest idea what the job entails. i'm experienced enough with graphic design and illustration but i don't know a lot about the processes you go through on the way to coming up with the final piece :confused: ... there aren't a lot of resources on the web, bar this site, that show anything expect the final finished pieces and i guess i just need any information or advice i can get on the processes leading up to them. i realise everyone works differently but any nuggets of wisdom'll help. basically i know squat so any help'll be greatly appreciated. the film's a concept a friend of mine came up with featuring vampires but i really want to avoid the cheesiness and cliches associated with that particular genre. love the site, esp. the resources sectionwhich looks like a lifesaver. cheers.
