I have a 9x12 intuos2 and I just bought a 4x5 Graphire3 for use on my laptop. The 9x12 is nice, especially if you really like to work big. It's also really expensive, and takes up a lot of desk real estate. I've seen a lot of artists in the Post your Studio thread that have the smaller versions. You could probably get away with the 6x8 version if you're really on a budget.

Hope you're enjoying it... I miss it.. :( It was like selling a child.. ;)
But I needed to the money at the time.. we all know how that goes. And I've finally got some steady full-time work, so I'm saving up for the 9x12.

Wacom Intuos A3.
A3 really works better for me, cause I can fly when doodling quick, plus I can rest it on my legs, and against the table, as if I was really drawing. I love ma baby ;)

I got a 6x8 Intuos1 by trading a 50 dollar video card to a friend. I don't see a big difference from an Intuos2 other than the fact its serial and can't use it on my laptop :(
