i suck at lighting, i have been working really hard on it as of late.

this is a rather amusing picture, the top one looks like me kinda, the one on the left kinda looks like ruby genesis, the one on the bottom looks like the beepbop steady, and the one on the right looks like .. the evil wizard from the lord of the rings. (?)

i would love any help i could get on some instruction on how to paint. i am really really interested, i am ready to learn. i want to begin painting, enough with my dabbling with painter, so please if you know a good way to begin - i have never taken a painting class and i feel a passion for it.

i was influenced by rubygenesis's faces with dark shadows. i was right thinking, hey that looks like fun.

--this thread could be a great place for painting tuts...i want to see more myself, specicially on things like lighting, canvas layout details (dpi/resolution settings) brush settings...ya, all the good stuff.

shoot im just running my mouth...

think i'll go dabble in painter.
