Wizard I tried to do for the speed painting thread but it took way to long for a speed painting. I suck at speed painting/loose painting but I think I'm making progress. What do you all think? I'll post it in the speed thread as well.

I think he looks incredible. The painting job more than did the character concept justice. I can't find one thing that bothers me about it. I do have a question though because I'm just starting to digitally paint. Your original large image is pretty huge, to do the sketch of the character did you zoom out and draw it, then zoom back in for the painting? Or did you scan the concept then paint it? Just curious about the process.

this is very impressive. The only things that that actually bother me are, the finger on the hand to the right of the canvas is bent in a way that is not possible. You can sorta bend it like that but it would break if it went as far as yours.
Also the ground seems a bit plain. i think just some rubble, design, or shadows of things that aren't in the piece would help. It's honestly very impressive.
